RESI's fundamental mission is to enable faculty and graduate students to conduct research
RESI offers three levels of Developmental Grants in support of faculty research that will lead to publications, presentations and other activities that can contribute to tenure and promotion.
Fellowship Grants ($1,500): enable faculty to apply for fellowships provided by external funding agencies. Three (3) grants will be awarded.
Planning Grants ($5,000): enable faculty to develop and pilot new research efforts. Three (3) grants will be awarded.
Proof of Concept Grants ($10,000): enable faculty to expand on research that they have already piloted. Two (2) grants will be awarded.

For those whose research has strong ties to the Humanities (Literature, History, Art, Philosophy) RESI also maintains an affiliation with the
Glasscock Center for Humanities Research and will accept applications for the Internal Faculty Fellows program.
